Enjoying a delightful experience at the Creative Discovery Museum during their Olympic Week. Today, CDM featured our local athletes who showcased their bocce skills and invited attendees to participate in future area events. Can’t wait to do it again Thursday and Friday.
Today is the 34th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). A celebration was held at Coolidge Park. Our athletes from the Orange Grove Center Chorus gave a remarkable performance, showcasing their musical talents.

Special Olympics College Programming Special Olympics college programs connect young adults with and without intellectual disabilities to lead the social inclusion movement of Special Olympics on college campuses. Through shared experiences, campus communities of acceptance and friendship are built.
We just completed another great golf clinic at the UTC Golf Player Development Center. Thank you Lamar Mills for always coaching our athletes in golf.

The 2024 Area 4 Special Olympics Loyd Ray Smith Spring Games (track and field) was so fun today. We appreciate East Hamilton High School for hosting the event this year. A big thank you all our volunteers. We couldn’t make this happen without your support. Congratulations to all you athletes! You shined out there today! See you in June for the golf clinic.

Athlete Andrew Williams was inducted in Hixson High School’s Alumni Hall Of Fame today. We’re so proud of you Andrew. You make a great difference in our community.
A big thank you to Chattanooga Parks and Recreation for allowing us to use Heritage Park for our Traditional Bocce Tournament. We had 23 teams participate today. We’re so very proud of our athletes!
Also, a big shout out to our volunteers who coached, kept score, and worked as officials.
