Hello! Katie here, owner of Kate’s Kreations! I love all things creative and am opening up my books now that all my kids are in school!

I started my sign business (previously called Sign, Sealed & Delivered) over 12 years ago after I made my sons 1st birthday chalkboard and all my friends wanted one! I made signs for businesses, homes, gifts, parties and wedding rental signs. Barn wood, chalkboards, hand painted wall murals, sandwich boards, wedding labels, menu boards, glass windows, vintage mirrors, you name it! My family and I moved from California to Chattanooga area 5 years ago and I never stopped creating. I hand painted personalized gifts like family Christmas ornaments, birth flower canvas totes, business and family name signs and was shipping them all over. My husband and I remodeled our home in Birchwood when we moved here, starting with one room at a time and I absolutely love the design part. Since then I have helped clients with design and love helping create their vision come to life. If you have seen Cityscope magazine around town I have been nominated/featured in the magazine twice for our home and design. (Summer 2023 Premier Living and Spring 2024 Southern Women), what an honor and blessing! I currently do all the signage, hand painted murals and backdrops, calligraphy, placecards, decor/styling and hand lettering for events in The Greenhouse in Birchwood and I also teach the art and calligraphy classes in there! It’s so fun! Now that my 4 kids are back in school I will have more time and freedom to create.

A commissioned art piece I did for a new Airbnb in St. Elmo Chattanooga! This was so fun for me to make for them!

Stetson’s first flight 🦆 what a cute little guy and an adorable theme! I had fun with this one! Luckily my boys bedroom is hunting theme so I used some of their decor. The ducks on the backdrop my dad and grandpa mounted 40 years ago. The watercolor high chair banner I painted to match their invitations. Made a duck blind for the welcome area. Loved bringing this vision to life!

Morgan’s boho baby shower for twins Sunny & Sorin was elegant and lovely 🌿🌾 we love this natural look with the big glass windows overlooking the greenery outside. Such a pretty theme! Styling, custom signage and decor by me Kate’s Kreations

The Greenhouse was transformed into an Enchanted forest for Kendall’s 11th birthday! She requested a “Cottagecore” theme with mushrooms, butterflies and flowers and wanted to paint with her friends. I created a little mushroom scene on a wooden circle and they picked what paint colors they wanted. Kendall’s mom made a beautiful cake and they had a great time. Thanks for choosing us to celebrate you! I loved creating this for y’all! 🍄🌿🦋🪵🐸

I was asked to paint a flower mural and directional words in the foyer of . It was an honor! They wanted a camellia flower and I used a white crayon to freehand it before I painted it. I used the wall paint color and mixed white to make a pretty color, not too girly as this will be an event room. I love that they help foster and adoption families in our area, such an amazing place that gives hope!

Alice in “One”derland 1st birthday party in The Greenhouse 🍄 I had a blast decorating this theme! I wanted a whimsical, woodland vibe with mushrooms, black and white accents, vintage tea cups and pots, real tree slabs and wood rounds, greenery and flowers down the middle of the tables. The cake smash area I drew a big clock and made a “one” banner to hang on a vintage high chair. I asked the mom to bring me pictures of the babies first year and decorated the room with them! Transforming the whole room into this theme was so fun ♣️♦️♠️♥️

Haley chose to celebrate her 26th birthday with a cactus art party with her favorite girls! I decorated the table with cactus, succulents and pink flowers to match the cactus they painted. Had a fun backdrop area for fun pictures! Such a beautiful evening surrounded by these glass walls 🌵🌸🪴

Camden celebrated his 10th birthday with an art party in The Greenhouse 🎨 he requested an ocean scene (specifically a whale shark, octopus and sea turtle) and a BIG 10 backdrop with paint splatter on it! I decorated with fun, bright colors and taught the class with my daughter Addison as my assistant. All the kids did such a great job! 🎈

✨ MEET THE MAKER ✨

Kate’s Kreations (aka Sign, Sealed and Delivered) has been making custom signs, lettering and painting for purchase for over 10 years. She made her sons first birthday chalkboard which started her business and it grew from there. Her husband and four kids moved to Birchwood, TN from the Central Coast of California four years ago. She continued painting custom family Christmas ornaments, chalkboards for events and hand painted floral canvas totes for gifts. When her parents turned on our property into an event space she jumped right in to help! She loves parties, decorating and art so she teaches art classes, coordinates and plans the events, is hired to decorate whichever theme the client wants, gives tours of The Greenhouse and does all the lettering, backdrops and signage. She can work with you to make your event so special and exactly what you envision!

Looking back at some of my work in California! Y’all kept me busy!! After I had my 3rd baby I had to step back making signs. And then we had another baby and moved to TN! And here we are! I really enjoy creating custom handmade pieces for y’all and have some fun stuff in the works 🤍

Had some fun with paint on my new water cup! Now maybe I will remember to drink more water each day! 😆🤦🏼‍♀️

Well a lot has changed since I shared in here! We now have 4 kids and we live in Tennessee!!! Loving life here! Remodeling our house, farm animals, new friends and new schools. Tennessee is so beautiful and the people are so nice and welcoming! On the weekends you can find us fishing, camping, hiking to waterfalls or hunting in our backyard. We have a blue hole on our property, an abandoned moonshine cabin and a greenhouse we turned into a beautiful party room! More pictures to come ♥️
