🌟 Happy National Day of Encouragement! 🌟

At Partnership, we believe in the power of uplifting one another—whether it's offering a kind word, a helping hand, or simply being there to listen. Today, let's take a moment to spread positivity, encourage those around us, and remind others that they are never alone. Together, we can create a stronger, more supportive community. 💛

Not sure where to start? Here are 5 simple ways to encourage someone today:
1.) Give a Compliment – A kind word goes a long way! Let someone know what you admire about them.
2) Send a Thoughtful Message – A quick text or note to check in or say, “You’ve got this!” can brighten someone’s day.
3) Listen with Care – Offering a listening ear can show someone that their feelings are valid and important.
4) Celebrate the Small Wins – Help someone recognize their progress, no matter how small. Every step forward counts!
5) Offer a Helping Hand – Actions speak louder than words. Whether it’s a small favor or a bigger gesture, your support can mean the world.

Who will you encourage today?

Do you have swimsuits your kids have outgrown?

We are getting ready for camp HOPE and have a few campers who don’t have swim suits. If you have kids who have outgrown theirs and you want to give them to kids who will use them for an amazing experience, please message me. I can pick them up or you can drop them off at our Partnership offices at Eastgate mall in Brainerd.

We can use sizes from 6x children’s to xl adult and the most need is for our girls (one piece swim suits and many prefer swim shorts too) and boys (swim shorts and some prefer swim shirts as well) who are age 11-14.

Our program serves youth ages 7-17 who have experienced violence. They have the opportunity to spend a week with Camp HOPE America programming in overnight camp at YMCA Camp Ocoee and we provide year-round activities all free for the families.

THANK YOU for giving HOPE to our campers!!!

Elder abuse is more common than you think—1 in 10 seniors are affected, but few cases are reported. Did you catch Wendy Winters and Mary Beth Lester on "Let's Chat"? They shared essential tips on spotting and reporting elder abuse.

🔍Spotting the Signs of Elder Abuse:
Physical: Unusual bruises or marks.
Behavioral: Withdrawal, fearfulness, or sudden changes.

Mental health is as important as physical health, and seeking help is a sign of strength. This month, we encourage everyone to take a moment to learn about mental health, support those who may be struggling, and take care of yourself!

Make Mental Health a Priority:
• Educate Yourself: Learn and share information to reduce stigma.
• Show Compassion: Offer support to those around you.

Helping build a stronger, smarter, safer community.

Partnership for Families, Children and Adults has been serving the Tennessee Valley community for 140 years through professional counseling, crisis intervention, and prevention services. The Partnership began with the 1877 establishment of the Ladies Aid Society, which later became the Florence Crittenton Home. Under direction of United Way, The Florence Crittenton Service, Family Service Agency and Travelers Aid Society merged into Community Services of Greater Chattanooga, Inc. in 1973. In 1981, the agency assumed the name Family and Children’s Services of Chattanooga, Inc., and in 2003 became Partnership for Families, Children and Adults.
