ArtsBuild and the City of Chattanooga, Office of Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy, announce the Periscope CHA: Artist Entrepreneur Training to strengthen the local creative economy. Using a model created by the Arts & Business Council of Nashville for over ten years, the year-long cohort of Periscope CHA: Artist Entrepreneur Training is a business development intensive to empower working artists from multiple disciplines to see their creative practice through an entrepreneurial lens. Periscope CHA is spearheaded by ArtsBuild, with support from the City of Chattanooga Office of Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy, The Nancy Lackey Community Education Fund, The Sankofa Civic Engagement Organization, Benwood Foundation, United Way, Arts & Business Council of Greater Nashville, and the Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union.
