We just awarded the first full-tuition scholarship for AABE (Association of Black in Energy). E'Shawn Massey, the inaugural recipient of this award, as well as their other one-time awards.

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to our newest team member, Taya Mayfield! Taya joins us as our Receptionist and Administrative Assistant, bringing with her a wealth of experience in service and community engagement. Originally from Cedar Falls, Iowa, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Tourism, and Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Northern Iowa. Her dedication to creating positive change and helping others thrive aligns perfectly with our mission here at the CFGC.
Taya and her husband made Chattanooga their home in October 2023, and they're eager to put down roots and explore all the beauty this city has to offer. When she's not in the office, you'll likely find Taya in our gorgeous outdoors, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, or discovering hidden gems in our local eateries and coffee shops.
Congratulations to the first graduates of the Builder's Blueprint Program! We're proud to support this program as it works to provide more equitable pathways to general contracting work in our area.
Dr. Young is doing great work in partnership with our friends at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga!
