This here is an example of why you never rush and you TAKE YOUR TIME as a stylist.
This beauty went to another salon to get some highlights done because it had been awhile and just had a baby a year ago. Throughout her appointment she just didn’t feel valued and felt something just wasn’t right. As you can see in her before, (which was only done 2 weeks ago) it was toned very uneven, there were very harsh foils lines and a lot of breakage.
As a stylist it is our job to make our clients feel their best selves when they leave our chair. This client did not feel that. She felt rushed and under valued. I will never bash another stylist, but as an industry we need to do better and be better by our clients. They should be getting all of our attention. They say time is money in our industry, but is it when your clients don’t come back ?
