A family-run museum celebrating our founders, Floyd and Norma Souders, and the vision they had of rural Kansas life from 1880-1950s

Today, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank Tom Gronniger for the incredible hard work, dedication, and heart he has poured into Souders over the years.

Tom’s commitment, generosity, and willingness to help in so many ways have made a lasting impact on our museum and community. His dedication does not go unnoticed, and we are beyond grateful for everything he has done to help preserve and support this special place.

We also want to thank Tom’s family for the beautiful new décor around the tree. Their thoughtful contribution adds so much charm and meaning to the grounds, and we truly appreciate the love and care behind it.

Thank you again, Tom, Katie and family, for your continued support, hard work, and dedication. Souders is better because of you. ❤️

We want to give a huge THANK YOU to the Wichita Farm & Ranch Club for coming out to visit Souders Historical Farm Museum and for your generous donations!

We had such an incredible time hosting everyone that we completely forgot to stop and take photos—which says a lot about how much fun we were having!

The food was absolutely amazing, and the company was even better. We truly enjoyed spending time with such a wonderful group of people who share a love for history, community, and agriculture.

Your support means so much to us and helps us continue preserving and sharing the history of Souders Historical Farm Museum. Thank you again for spending part of your day with us—we hope to see you all again soon! ❤️🌾🚜

Rain may have put a damper on things outside, but it sure has created some beautiful moments here at Souders ☔️🌧️

In lieu of all the rainy weather, we wanted to share a video we’ve captured around the museum. There’s just something special about Souders in the rain — peaceful, nostalgic, and beautiful in its own way.

🌞 Woke up like this… charming, historic, and looking pretty good if we do say so ourselves. 😉

The grass is green, the buildings are standing tall, and we’re ready to turn heads all season long.

Need a little fresh air and a dose of local history? Our gates are open to the public today from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

🌧️ Rain, rain, go away… or at least wait until we’re done working! 😆

A rainy day at Souders means muddy boots, wet grass, and plenty of umbrellas, but the work never stops! While Mother Nature is keeping us on our toes, we’re still busy making improvements, tidying up, and keeping the museum looking its best.
