How long has it been since you lubricated your garage doors?
Regular lubrication helps ensure smooth operation, reduces noise, and extends the life of your garage door system.
🛠️ Disconnect from the power source to prevent accidental operation
🛠️ Wipe off the dirt and dust from the tracks, but do not lubricate the tracks themselves.
🛠️ Lubricate the moving parts: hinges, rollers, springs, locks, bearing plates. Use a silicone based lubricant or something plant based (do NOT use WD40, it is not a lubricant and has a cleaning chemical in it that can break down grease) Wipe off any overspray. Call us if you need a lubricant suggestion :)
🛠️ Apply a small amount of lubricant to the chain or screw.
🛠️ After lubricating, open and close the garage door manually a few times to distribute the lubricant evenly across all parts.
🛠️ Reconnect the power source and test the door to ensure it's operating smoothly and quietly.

Yes, we sell HVAC filters! Did you know your filters should be replaced very 1 to 3 months?!?

For air return vents/grids:
Locate the metal grid inside your home. They are generally in a central location, in the hallway or ceiling. Turn off the unit to prevent blowing dust. Open grid, replace used filter with new one. Close the grid, turn the unit back on.

For air handlers/furnaces:
Turn off the unit. Remove the old filter near the air handler/ furnace & replace with new one; Turn the unit back on.
