Here’s a simple list (and by no means all inclusive) of things you can do WHILE to prepare for a healthy and supported 🤱🏿👨🏼‍🍼

We often spend time preparing for the (rightly so!) but forget about the importance of preparation. This is your reminder to plan for your experience after too! 🥰

🎶 These are a few of my favorite things 🎶

Transition is all about asymmetrical as the baby navigates their way through the mid-pelvis, often rotating their way around 🌪️ 👶🏼🤱🏽

The beauty of understanding the relationship between the baby and the pelvis is that we then begin to see how SIMPLE movement and optimal positions are with an AND in 🥰

💃🏿 What positions helped you get through the intensity of transition? 💃🏻

A simple but favorite position that could really be used at any point in the 👍🏼

I especially love how her partner’s leg creates the elevation for hers 🥰

Asymmetrical positions are awesome for the mid pelvis but we can’t forget how much they shine during too! ✨✨✨

Decided to turn this into a bit of a series highlighting some awesome 💃🏿

Here’s another great one for an but easy to modify for use with an (kneel over back of the bed with a folded pillow under one knee 👍🏼).

When we see different and understand how they are they become more usable in your actual 👯‍♀️

What else helps make them usable? Practice! Try them out in - it’s never too early but the is a great time to start! 🌟 Create some muscle memory and familiarity with positions you may otherwise not think of during 💕

One of my favorites for at the pelvic inlet and giving the support in rotating 🥰

This one is great for if planning an or active when unmedicated. 👍🏼

Our series is just so fun! Highlighting different and why and when they are beneficial makes them far more usable for folks in and 🤰🏼

This will help create familiarity and muscle memory, give you a chance to learn what feels good in your body and what doesn’t, and offers an opportunity to practice comfort techniques with your in the positions you may use while !

I’ve found this to also be a really instinctive position during these phases. Sometimes people use a version of this when they are catching their own babies! 👶🏻

And yes - most people with an could do this leaning over the back of the hospital bed (instead of the ball). 👍🏽
