Our mission is to provide an inclusive, peaceful and sacred Community for contemplation, meditation, mindfulness and Zen Training for the cultivation of a deeper spirituality. Sadly, Jizo-an Temple has been seriously damaged by the storm that came through the area on Friday. A large tree fell through the roof, destroying or damaging many of the items on or surrounding the main altar, including our beautiful Buddha statue. Obviously, all in-person events are now cancelled until further notice. That said, we are planning on holding this Wednesday night teaching via Zoom. Please join us. 🙏🏼

Suffering and enlightenment are the same thing?
Suffering, discontentment and ignorance are the very soil that awakening takes root in. It is by only acknowledging and accepting that these delusions are present within us that we have a chance to awaken this Buddha-nature.
