Basically this is asking how do we learn to trust ourselves. This is a practice, much like anything else we do to take care of ourselves. Do we always know we are on the right path and are 100% sure? No, we typically don’t know this. We develop a sense of what feels right or doesn’t. Well, you may then be asking how do we do that? My answer is to create space to hear yourself. With everything competing for this space in our lives, it is hard to hear our own inner voice but we all have one, no matter how quiet it may have become. Quiet down interference and sit with yourself. Is this uncomfortable? It might be but if we don’t develop this space and trust within ourselves, we can be letting others steer our direction, even unknowingly or be steering out of fear. It is also important to calm fears to hear your true voice. Maybe this involves talking with a therapist to assist. We can always take our power back and change our path.
