Resolve Physical Therapy and Performance
We help active individuals get out of pain so they can live life to their fullest.
Experiencing pain is common among runners.
But it doesn’t have to be NORMAL.
The above diagnoses results from poor “stress” management (exercise is stress) and preparation.

Caitlin hobbled into our office a few months ago after suffering a calf tear. As a dance teacher and performer, this injury not only served as an overall inconvenience, but it affected every area of her life. Caitlin came ready and determined to do what she needed to do to get back to dance and teaching as soon as possible. She showed commitment and consistency from day 1, putting in the work everyday, trusting the process, and keeping a positive and open mindset.
Caitlin went from being unable to put any weight on her left leg, to feeling strong and confident in a matter of weeks (I mean, check out that incredible grand jete, aka leap, to mark how far she’s come!)
It is pretty incredible to see what can happen when you combine a provider/coach who knows how to create and implement programming specific to YOUR needs and goals with a client who is motivated, consistent and committed. 💪
Come on by for food, drinks, and fun!
All are welcome and we hope to see you there!
JOSEPHINE!!l
Getting out of pain requires behavior change.
Behavior change requires coaching.
It is impossible to coach someone effectively when bouncing from patient to patient.
In Josephine’s defense, how is she supposed to learn to change her behavior and reach her goals when she’s left alone (or with an aide) for the majority of her session?
But it’s not the PT’s fault - It’s the demands of insurance based care, requiring practitioners to treat multiple people in the same session (in order to meet a corporate quota) that prohibit the quality of care you deserve.
Choose care that puts YOU and YOUR GOALS at the center.
DM us “Change” if you’re still in pain, even after going to PT.
💥 3 Key principles to get out and stay out of pain:
1. Restore joint mobility/positions- Can your joints move the way they should?
2. Increase strength. 💪🏼. Elevate your capacity ceiling so that when you perform, you have a buffer. This will reduce stress on your body and elevate your performance.
3. Improve your cardiovascular base. Low level long duration cardio has HUGE benefits for overall health and well being. It helps with recovery, decreases inflammation, and also helps elevate the capacity ceiling.
Does your rehab program cover all three areas?
Without a comprehensive approach, you’re missing out on key components to resolve your pain and feel your best long term.
DM us “RESOLVE” if you’re tired of feeling pain and want to perform your best.
Building foot strength is more than just towel curls and picking up marbles. 🦶🏼💪🏼
Your whole leg 🦵🏻 (foot, knee, hip and pelvis) need to be able to work together for optimal performance.
1. Make sure your foot can move through necessary positions. Supination to pronation, high arch to lower arch. Imagine a spring coiling. 🌀
2. Make sure the hip and pelvis can move through necessary positions. This helps utilize the wave of energy from the ground up.🌊
3. Perform strength building activities, requiring you to move through those positions, to help build resiliency and long term enjoyment!
