It's very important not to run any hard inquiries prior to closing of a home. If the mortgage lender finds that you applied for a new car, credit card, or financed appliances etc. You could possibly lose financing for the home. Mortgage lenders normally run a soft pull on your credit to verify no changes days before closing.

It was hard work but got it done.

Just to piggy back all my last post. There are a few major banks and credit unions offering similar deferment plans. Please call your mortgage company to get the details on how to apply.

I’m hoping all is well with you and your family during these tough times. If you’re currently affected by Covid-19 medically or financially. Bank of America is now offering a payment deferral for anyone with a mortgage or credit card with their company. You can defer your payment for three months. After the three months you’ll have to pay the three months in full or call to apply the payments to the end of your payment schedule. I’ll give updates on other mortgage companies as I get the information.

• Two years of taxes returns
• Two years of W2s
• Two to three months of bank statements
• Last two pay stubs
