Therapy dog “Roux” took the opportunity to truly shine and take center stage during an important meeting with Philly Insurance today.

I don’t know about you, but a universal mandate that therapy dogs attend all mettings in the workplace seems like a valid necessity!

“Prior to spring break, students had a really fun Activity Wednesday:
In art, Mr. Monzo hosted an activity for Diamond Painting. Several students found this activity engaging and relaxing, as well as aesthetically pleasing.
In Culinary, the students made edible spring baskets using a cookie recipe, icing, homemade chocolates, and Twizzlers for the basket handles. The students each had a different spin on their projects, and they came out absolutely adorable!
Cosmetology had a fun with Hair Tinsel. The students were able to work together with staff, as well as enjoy some quality time with one another. These little touches of "glam" really boosted some confidence and conversation.”🙂

“I wanted to show the handmade paper we created. The internet was unavailable to us for the day, so this project was our “plan B” but turned out to be such a success. I pulled out my papermaking kit and we got creative. I had students tell me the difference between computer paper and construction paper. We then discussed how paper is made and the went on to make our own. Turns out, it’s a combination of very wet, squishy, and a little messy. Finally we discussed the differences between the 3 different kinds of papers and what we might add or do differently the next time.”
