Our last day of work
Tomorrow is my last day of work. I started my own small nail salon 31 years ago. I moved to Sussex Building and had been there for 28 years. I've worked my ass off all my life; evenings, Saturdays, all while raising my son. I missed out on a lot of things because I had to work. I rarely took off. Besides my parents passing away, this has to be one of the saddest times in my life. Doing nails and my business was my identity, who I am. I loved it. It was a lot of fun, being creative, making friends and making others feel good. It's really odd to say goodbye to Professionails Nail Salon. I'm not sure where the wind blows me next. I may return to nails, I may not. I'm not sure yet. Hopefully my hand surgeries will help significantly. Mila and I will miss everyone. Don't forget to join Kirsten's Commiserating Clients group page for advice on salons to try or avoid. Thanks to everyone for your many years of support and loyalty to my little salon.
