Deep Overbites ("Excess vertical overlap of the Upper & Lower Front Teeth") can lead to lower dental crowding with enamel wear, gaps about the upper front teeth, periodontal and sometimes functional or "TMJ" issues. Both of our Deband Patients today originally presented with these now-corrected concerns.

Orthodontic Interception, or "Phase 1 Treatment," can modify the jaws to create space for dental crowding relief, avoid "impactions" and sometimes extraction of permanent teeth. In Eliana's case, her upper jaw was widened during a Phase 1 course, and after a period of Observation, full treatment was provided.
