I hinted at "life-changing" news coming soon, and well...here it is.

I am thrilled to announce that I will be opening my own Farm Bureau agency, Tom Santilli Farm Bureau of Michigan. After an incredible journey with Complete Video Solutions and 15 amazing years as a professional film critic, it's time for a new chapter in my life.

To my wonderful friends, family, past brides and grooms, and all the incredible wedding vendors and venues I've had the pleasure of working with - your support has meant the world to me. Thank you for allowing me to capture your most cherished moments and share my passion for film with you.

Complete Video Solutions is not going anywhere. While my role will diminish over time, my longtime partner and our top videographer, Jeremy Pulford, will be taking on the bulk of production. Current clients do not need to worry about anything at all and I am still the main point of contact. In fact, I will still be shooting weddings throughout the remainder of 2024.

Likewise, I am still a professional movie critic. Our TV show (with my co-partner, Greg Russell), Movie Show Plus, has returned online and on WADL TV-38 in Detroit, every Sunday at 4:30 pm.

I have been studying and preparing for this launch for the past several months, having passed all of my state exams and currently in training with Farm Bureau. I officially can write new business and can help you out in another few weeks. And although I am a new agent with undoubtedly a lot to learn, I am equipped with an incredible team of experienced professionals behind me, who I can lean on and who are there to help with complex situations, commercial properties and businesses, or just in general.

While this career change may come as a surprise, it actually makes perfect sense. For the past 20 years, I have been in the "education" business, meaning that I have spent my life trying to educate others as to the value of video and the value of preserving important family memories and history. I've tried to give unique guidance and advice in letting people know what movies I felt were impactful and meaningful. Now, my new role as a trusted advisor is even more important, as I will be educating and advising others as to how they can best protect themselves, their livelihoods and their loved ones. I believe in this new opportunity wholeheartedly and I hope I get the chance to explain to everyone I know the importance of having the proper safeguards and protections in place for themselves and their own families.

Those who know me know my integrity and my work ethic. I am so absolutely stoked to get my business off the ground, and to help my family, friends, colleagues and community in the process.

Thank you for being a part of this journey. Your support and encouragement have been invaluable, and I can't wait to embark on this new adventure with all of you.
