I am such a creature of habit. I drive to Lawnside to come to Town and Country car wash on White Horse Pike every couple of weeks to get my car washed. I don’t mind the ride because they do such an amazing job inside and out. They wax, vacuum, wash my rugs and all for $23. I haven’t found a place yet to do a better job and they get it done so fast!!!’ It even comes with a free air freshener. It takes about 20 minutes from Philadelphia to get here and you can fill up right across the street at the gas station For $2.99 a gallon. Happy Sunday and enjoy the Super Bowl.

I know sometimes I can be a bit of a helicopter Mom and try to save my kids too much. Often I find myself irritated with demanding that I leave them be and let them fly or fall. I’m not sure if what I’m saying to myself is that “I’m not sure if I prepared them enough “ or “ I don’t want them to fail” . The crazy part is, both of those statements are completely debilitating to children as well as myself, when you really think about it. The first is challenging my judgment about my parenting and making me responsible for their outcomes and the second is me pampering the experience of life, giving my kids false perceptions about the effort needed for success. had a project to take home this weekend and I immediately tried to step in to give directions and threw up the “Hault” and I had to take a beat. I worried about it all night because he’s at .romero.9231 house and I’m unable to monitor his progress. But about an hour ago he FaceTime me to surprise me with the outcome. I have to say I was so pleasantly surprised at what he did. It was beyond my expectations and he did it all by himself. I’m using this as a teaching moment for myself as a parent. I don’t care how much you try to force anything, a square will never be a circle and a circle will never be a square. They just are who they are and it’s enough 🥰 Brice, thank you so much for just always being the $ #!+ and showing up the way you do. You make me so proud to be your mom. Most importantly Akeiff thank you so much for always supporting me in being the best mom I can be to our kid’s. I’m so glad he has us as a balance.

This rose bush was chopped to the core this summer by accident when I got yard work done and this is the one and only flower it produced since. I kept my eye on it since last week and tonight I just had to cut it🌹It was such a vibe for me because I almost gave up on it, I didn’t pay attention to it, it’s been cold as heck, the dogs have been peeing by the bush every day, AND IT STILL TURNED OUT BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!
