We wanted to give you a sneak peak into something we have been passionately working on for the last 7 months.
Over six years ago, we identified a significant gap in the real estate industry: top agents were predominantly focusing their time and effort on their seller processes. Truthfully, we have always loved working with buyers, and it is how we started our business, but we found that the norm for buyers was to go right into seeing properties without any agent-provided education and expectation setting.
👨⚖️ This problem was brought to the public eye by the NAR lawsuit which showed that there is a clear lack of perceived value in the role of a buyer agent.
✅ The first year of our running the team, we began working on an onboarding and education process for buyers and have been refining it for over 5 years. We found
1. An introductory meeting focused on asking the right questions and letting the client have the floor.
2. A buyer guide meeting to set expectations, outline our value as agents, and dive into the successful buying process.
3. Reviewing and signing a buyer broker agreement so our client knows exactly what our services cost, and how that fee can be covered.
4. An offer writing deep dive meeting: Where we discuss the contract in our area, the value of a specific home, negotiation tactics, and how to formulate an offer unique to our client’s needs.
📚 As a result we have decided to share our written process with the agent community nationwide via our Buyer Onboarding Process course. The modules within provide tactical step by step instructions to get home buyers educated about the buying process upfront. By the end of our course an agent will be armed with real value to provide their home buying clients
📍By the end of this course, agents will have a precise roadmap to implement these strategies into their business immediately.

The Department of Veterans Affairs plans to temporarily lift its ban on buyers directly paying for professional real estate representation until the agency deems it necessary to engage in a formal rulemaking process, a VA official said Tuesday at a Mortgage Bankers Association conference in New York.
Although not an official announcement, the comments from VA Deputy Director of Policy Michelle Corridon were met with relief from the real estate industry, as the VA’s home loan guaranty is the only loan program with this explicit prohibition. Veteran buyers have limited options in situations where the listing broker makes no offer of compensation to the buyer broker, potentially leaving veterans without professional representation or forcing them to switch to less favorable loan products.
