Great gardening hack!
So cool!
- Make a potato pot by cutting out the sides of a plant pot and putting it inside another one - this makes it easier to lift the plants out for harvesting.
Great cooling treats for hot summer days. You can add proteins & make similar dog & cat treats. I wonder if the horses want to try some...

I love to train dogs with no batteries required
Loving home needed!
Zero issues since his older brother is visiting Gramps!! For over a month!
2 yr neutered male pit/Australian Sheppard mix. Up to date on vaccinations. Bloodwork done recently. Everything looked good.
We love Smokey but he isn't a good farm dog. At least not one that has smaller livestock. He won't get over his hunter instincts & every time he gets out someone gets hurt. Chickens, goats...he's great with our girl dog & very special cat most of the time but will definitely need more desensitizing & socializing!
He loves all people & is extremely affectionate! He prefers to be the center of attention but has started actually fighting with his "brother" dog!? He's has had zero reactivity since our other male has been visiting my Dad. They just aren't getting along anymore... knowledge of the breed a must. Our first time experiencing their issues first hand. I didn't believe the breed tendencies could be so strong without encouragement of unwanted behaviors.
He is great in so many ways but he's just not a good fit for our situation. He'd be great for someone active that will take him on adventures! He's got plenty of energy & loves exploring so a fenced yard is best.
Completely house trained and loves the dog door but still chews so also crate trained when we can't supervise.
His girlfriend Tigger could go with him to the right home. We have mixed feelings on separating them. He's had ZERO issues since it's just the 2 of them while our other boy is on vacation at my father's. She has high anxiety at times so a companion is best for her but he must be overly protective of her. Both are very sweet! She warms up to women faster than men but loves all guests that visit once she's introduced.
Rehoming fee to ensure they stay safe, adoption contract & home inspection.

I've added some pictures of them snuggling in the comments. It won't let me at them to the post. She has high anxiety at times so a companion is best for her but he must be overly protective of her. What great patience!!
This is what the other side of de-clawing a cat looks like... You literally cut the tips of their toes off. They will never walk correctly. They will inevitably get arthritis as a result.
It hurts.
They don't understand what happened to them. If you don't like claws: don't own a cat. The vet should try and talk everyone out of it and only does it because otherwise the cat will lose their home...
This is CRUEL and INHUMANE! We at SIS do not support declawing.
Say nothing...Act Casual
READ: Please don’t run from bears or push your slower friends down in attempts of saving yourself.
As a follow-up to a previous post, if you come upon a stationary bear, move away slowly and sideways; this allows you to keep an eye on the bear and avoid tripping. Moving sideways is also non-threatening to bears. Do NOT run, but if the bear follows, stop and hold your ground. Like dogs, they will chase fleeing animals. Do NOT climb a tree. Both grizzlies and black bears can climb trees. Do NOT push down a slower friend (even if you think the friendship has run its course).
Stay calm and remember that most bears do not want to attack you; they usually just want to be left alone. Don’t we all? Identify yourself by making noise so the bear knows you are a human and not a prey animal. Help the bear recognize you as a human. We recommend using your voice. (Waving and showing off your opposable thumb means nothing to the bear) The bear may come closer or stand on its hind legs to get a better look or smell. A standing bear is usually curious, not threatening.
Find more tips, check out https://www.nps.gov/subjects/bears/index.htm
P.S. We apologize to any “friends” who were brought on a hike as the “bait” or were sacrificed to save the group. You will be missed.
