Over the years we have gotten questions about renovating and investing. While always happy to share knowledge and experiences, this is a great opportunity to hear from some real experts about real estate investing (which is much different than on TV!). There is still time to attend.

It was fun to see how excited kids are on their first day. They are laser focused on getting to the playground; they deserve to get there safely.

In February we will celebrate our 2-year anniversary of purchasing the property at 1719 Central, which was known as The Central Plaza and renamed The Downtowner Studios.
We've shared our journey with you and appreciate all the love and support. In some ways it seems like yesterday, but then I look at Carter's very gray beard and am brought back to reality.
We are on our way to fulfilling the dream of creating a great space with a sense of community open to serve those folks in transition who don't want to commit to long-term lodging, or those who are just ready for downsizing and living a really simple life where the most pressing chore is what to have for dinner at Paris West, or those in Cheyenne working on the many projects going on.

Bell ringing for The Salvation Army today at Sam’s we are reminded of how great and generous our community is.
Of course it helped it is 52 degrees (thank goodness), but everyone was all smiles today. Thank you.

And now that The Downtowner is "done," (not that a project is ever really done!) it is time to fill it up. We have been blessed with some really fantastic guests. Some have been here for years. Some several months and some brand new.
There are many wonderful places, but we are essentially a new building with nice amenities in a fantastic location. All that and significantly less expensive than similar properties.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce Red Carpet ceremony and our grand opening.
It was the culmination of a very interesting, educational, emotional and exhausting 18 months. We couldn't have done it without the support of family and friends (and yesterday we were too emotional to properly thank them publicly).
Thank you so much to Bailey Anthony, Brentton Anthony and support of Joy Butz, Taylor Spaulding Mendoza, and Laura Phipps of Lynn Manages Houses. Bailey and Brentton may roll their eyes, but at the end of the day support all my crazy ideas. Carrie Weaver for always being in my corner.
Thank you to close friends, Kristen M. Greene-Boyles, Luis Antonio Mendoza, Bryan 'Alf' Grzegorczyk, Mike Casner and Kerry Casner (not only personally, but also for the tons and tons of debris they hauled away) and so many others. I've been a horrible family member and friend the last 18 months, but they stuck with me anyway.

Carter would like to publicly thank his entire family for picking up lots of grandpa/grandma, uncle and aunt time to watch his daughter while he was working until the wee hours. And not only that, but even last night when we ran out of Coke, they were but a phone call away to help. They have been that way the entire project.
You know that saying "it takes a village to raise a child?" Turns out it also takes a village to renovate a hotel! Thank you seems insignificant, but it is very heartfelt.

The Downtowner was the property’s original name when built in 1961. Carter and I wanted to honor the significance this corner of downtown has had for so many years and take it back to its roots. Jordan’s updated logo is beautiful isn’t it! And Carter’s muscle isn’t as visible, but he ran those tools and machines like he has been doing it all his life 😀.
