Wyoming is thrilled to announce a new $800 million Meta data center in Cheyenne! This incredible investment will support 100 permanent jobs and create approximately 1,000 construction jobs at the peak of construction.
The state-of-the-art data center will be located at the High Plains Business Park, strategically situated between I-25 and U.S. 85, midway between College Drive and Terry Ranch Road. The scene is Chugwater— a very small town located in southeast Wyoming— along I-25 about 45 miles north of Cheyenne. The last time anyone made an official count there were 212 residents. However, in recent years, the exodus from the West Coast has introduced any number of new folks to the area. This is my watercolors take on downtown Chugwater.
