If we truly want to see Wyoming continue to prosper well into the future, then it starts today.
As a state and public employee, it is my great honor to announce that our campaign has been endorsed by the Wyoming Public Employees Association! Our public employees are the backbone of Wyoming's economy and education system, and therefore, they are integral to our future.
We must show them more respect and appreciation by fixing Wyoming's Retirement System, ensuring it allows our public employees to retire without the need to worry about making ends meet. This is essential if we want to remain competitive with our neighboring states for the best and brightest public employees.

And we have another one! The Wyoming Education Association has officially endorsed our campaign! A HUGE thank you to the WEA for their belief in our campaign and their support of education in Wyoming.
Wyoming has a long history of offering its citizens one of the best educational experiences in the nation. However, that tradition has slipped in recent years, as we continue to fund our students among the top 5 in the U.S., yet our test scores and teacher satisfaction do not reflect that investment.
I will never apologize for supporting education or our teachers in Wyoming. I am hopeful that our new superintendent can help bring about meaningful change in our schools, but I believe the legislature has a role in returning Wyoming to one of the best places to educate a child in the United States and I will do whatever I can to ensure that it does.
Another thank you to my dad and one for my brother, TJ, for their help putting up another large banner in front of our home. This one's gonna be hard to miss!
Last week I had the opportunity to attend the Wyoming Business Alliance's first ever Policy & Prosperity Summit in Casper. It was a fruitful venture, as I was able to connect with industry professionals from around the state, learn about what drives Wyoming's Economy, and hear their legislative concerns.
Our present and future economy is an important piece of our campaign. It will be what attracts and keeps young workers in Wyoming, allows them to purchase a home, and put money into the economy that we in turn will utilize to invest in our infrastructure and services for older Wyomingites.
A significant portion of HD 12 lies in the county where fireworks are popular with many of our neighbors; however, a great number of our residents are also veterans, so I just ask that you be cognizant of that and the effect they can have on them.

The new Meta Cheyenne Data Center is going up in our district, HD 12. While it will be a boon to our economy in the short-term and the property taxes will benefit our community, it is not the long-term solution to Laramie County and Wyoming's economic issues.
We must continue to diversify our economy, offering attractive, well-paying jobs and incentivizing our young workers to stay in Wyoming and invest in our communities by starting small businesses and hiring Wyomingites.
We are excited to announce our first official endorsement! A sincere thank you to the Wyoming REALTORS PAC for their support!
Affordable housing is a key tenet of our campaign and integral to the future of Wyoming. As our population ages, it is crucial that we ensure they can afford to stay in their homes as long as possible. This is best for them and it is less expensive to tax payers.
Moreover, we must ensure that young families can buy their first home in Wyoming or they will choose to live, work, and invest their money somewhere else. Keeping young, skilled, and educated Wyomingites here will ensure that our economy is strong and we have the money to take care of our older generations.
We are making traction! Help us continue to spread the word on our campaign and shaping a more prosperous Wyoming!
CapCity News ran a candidate profile of our campaign this weekend. In it I addressed some of the pressing concerns I see facing HD 12 and Wyoming right now.

I was honored to be asked by AARP Wyoming to take part in their 2024 Voter Guide and discuss some of the issues most important to their members. However, these issues are not exclusive to AARP members and affect most Wyomingites. I hope to address these and many other important matters if I am elected as the representative for HD12.

Asking a big favor:
We are facing a 6-year incumbent in this race who has established backing and funding. We estimate we need to raise about $15,000 to be able to win this race.
If you can help us reach that goal by contributing whatever you feel comfortable contributing and by helping spread the word about our campaign, I would be eternally grateful. We cannot win this raise without your support!

Four of them became law, while one was vetoed by Gov. Mark Gordon.
