I was honored to be invited to the Steel “I” beam signing & placement ceremony for the new Rural Health Education Initiative joint project with University of Nebraska Medical Center - UNMC on the Kearney campus. A donation was made for this project to honor 2 beloved women in my education progress; my angel mother Bernice & her oldest sister Major(ret)E.B. Gunnell who served our country as a nurse in the United Stated Army and was a source of encouragement to me & many others during our years in school.

I love making donations and spread some joy, and this time was a great one. Carlos Padilla’s family got a Piano today! I know Carlitos (son) will be a fantastic and maybe famous concertist one day. 💕

Today I can Thank God once more, for the journey, for three years surrounded by exemplary people, staying near my lovely family, continuing to help, seeing my granddaughters grow, and much, much more… today we celebrate an unforgettable third anniversary of getting the incredible call for the transplant! 👏 ♥️💪

Today my thoughts are focused on my angel mother who was taken to heaven in 2002.
Her legacy lives on and she is missed by so many. 💕

I am so blessed to have had the examples of great men in my life to teach me by example how I should live.
