Phool dei is an auspicious festival which is celebrated in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is typically observed in the month of Chaitra (March-April) during the spring season. It marks the onset of the spring season
During the festival, Young girls known as "devis" or "gauris" go from house to house in their villages, singing and offering blessings to the families. They bring small baskets filled with flowers, jaggery, grains, and fruits, which they offer as a symbol of prosperity and good luck. In return, they receive gifts and sweets from the households they visit.
This festival is celebrated in both the Kumaon and Garhwal regions of Uttarakhand. Even today, people sprinkle flowers and rice on doorsteps in a few places and sing.
Sei (a pudding made with flour, curd, and jaggery) is created especially for this occasion.

यह त्योहार उत्तराखंड के कुमाऊं और गढ़वाल दोनों क्षेत्रों में मनाया जाता है। आज भी कुछ जगहों पर लोग दरवाजे पर फूल और चावल छिड़कते हैं और गाते हैं।
सेई (आटा, दही और गुड़ से बना हलवा) विशेष रूप से इस अवसर के लिए बनाया जाता है।
फूल देई वसंत की फसल का उत्सव है और यह भी माना जाता है कि उत्तराखंड में हिंदू नव वर्ष की शुरुआत होती है। त्योहार राज्य की सांस्कृतिक विरासत का एक महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा है और इस क्षेत्र में व्यापक रूप से मनाया जाता है
