Our boxes came this week and we are so grateful!
Thanks to the generosity of many, we now have a class set of legos which we’ll use for everything from science projects to language learning.
We’ll also use them to PLAY. Study after study has shown the integral role that play has in developing language, problem solving, and social emotional skills. Plus, it’s FUN and children deserve fun.
Thinking a lot about this text as I prepare for my students to come in just a few short days.
Some things I’m trying:

✨ emphasizing Spanish first on family communications
✨ preparing resources which encourage student to use their full linguistic repertoire.
