IMPORTANT TOURNAMENT UPDATE:

Hey Ball Out Friends,

Thank you all for signing up for the 2nd Annual Ball Out Grash Bash. I love putting on these events, and whether you are a long-time Ball Out Baller or new to our events, I can't tell you how honored I am to have you come Ball Out with us.

I always try my best to make these events the biggest and best that they can be, and historically I get great turnouts. Coming up to today, the signups between divisions has been less than desired, with most divisions not filled enough to make even a single pool. The last thing I want to do is cancel the event, but I also refuse to put on an event where the players do not have a great time. I value your time, effort, and your money, as my highest priority.

So with that being said, it is with a heavy heart to announce that I have decided to cancel the Ball Out Grash Bash this Saturday.
All teams which have already paid their team fees will get a full refund, so you should see that reflected on your account in a few days.

I'm super bummed to have to make this decision, especially because we had such a good turnout and event last year. If any of you have feedback, I'm always happy to hear from you. As we are historically outdoor volleyball based, I did not want to end the outdoor season on such a sour note. I will be working diligently these next few weeks to try and organize the first Ball Out Indoor event, likely as a Hi-Lo or Coed 4s format. I hope you will consider coming and playing with us!

WAIT, WHAT IS A HI-LO?
A "Hi-Lo" is a volleyball playing format where in every match you play, one set will be regular coed (men's height net) and another set will be reverse coed (women's height net). This means that for every match, both men and women will have to play both offense & defensive roles on their squad. The end result: some really fun and exciting volleyball!

Only two weeks until until the Hi-Lo Hustle! Get your team signed up asap, and come show us who the best Coed 4s team is in Chicago! 💪

TOURNAMENT INCLUDES:
- Multiple Divisions of Play (Coed A, BB & B)

Ball Out Volleyball

Registration for The Ball Out Hi-Lo Hustle is now officially open, ready for all you Hustlers on Saturday, August 26th! Head on over to our website below to get signed up and registered!

The Hi-Lo Hustle is a special format for Coed 4s (two guys two girls). Each match is guaranteed a set played on a men's height net (regular coed), and another set played on a women's height net (reverse coed). This makes building your team a bit more interesting, as you will need to have players who can both offensive AND defensive in order to be successful.

We'll be hosting a FREE outdoor volleyball clinic on the grass fields at Eckhart Park tomorrow, Sunday July 23rd, from 5-6pm.

Clinic is open for adults, with skill ranging anywhere between Rec/B/BB, and looking to learn and improve their game. Following the session, we will be hosting free play for anyone who wants to stick around and play some pick up. There is limited space, so make sure to arrive early to make sure you get a spot.

Should be a beautiful day, so feel free to come with some food or drinks while you're with us to hang out. Hope to see you out there!
