Specialty Produce Alert - Amalfi Coast Lemons Arriving Soon
Amalfi Coast lemons are larger on average than other varieties, with each fruit weighing at least 100 grams. The medium to thick skin is a pale yellow color. The rind has an especially intense lemon aroma because of the essential oils it contains. Inside, the flesh is acidic, semi-sweet, and very juicy.

The sweet-nutty-crunchy qualities of sunchokes can be used in unique ways. They are delicious raw — shaved thinly as in this salad, with a drizzle of olive oil and a blanket of Parmigiano-Reggiano. You can leave the skin on to consume raw, but for cooked preparations; you may consider removing the skin with a peeler or paring knife (the skin tends to toughen when cooked).
