Doug & Sue: Two Chis in a Pod

Doug and Sue are two gorgeous rat terriers who have been waiting a very long time to meet their perfect match. They are desperate to find someone to love them unconditionally.

These guys are very nervous. Putting on a collar and going for a walk can be extremely overwhelming for them. They prefer a quiet and peaceful life! If they could find a calm home, with a private backyard to get out in for playtime and potty time, they would feel like they have it made!

Doug and Sue will need someone patient. It takes a little while to join their inner circle, but talk to any of the volunteers and you'll soon learn they are worth the effort. They are very spunky dogs with cheeky personalities!

Hi, everyone! Doug here. It's Sunday Funday! Well, every day is a fun day for us! One of my favorite things to do is play, and I love stealing toys from Sue. I'm so lucky that she is so patient with me and indulges my slightly naughty side. I'm so lucky to have her as my best friend!

It's been a minute since we've connected, and we've been hearing all about this quarantine thing. Sounds like lots of families are looking for canine companions to keep them company. Well, guess what? We are STILL waiting for a home to call our own. We would love a calm home with an understanding family that can be patient while we adjust to a new life outside of the shelter that is caring for us.
