Old Town School’s Global Carnival is less than ONE MONTH AWAY (9/22)!

This FREE dynamic, immersive performance experience will feature Afro-Brazilian carnival block Ilê Aiyê - Oficial and New Orleans Black Masking Indian artists Flagboy Giz & The Wild Tchoupitoulas. Get ready to become a part of the show as performers use various areas throughout Millennium Park as well as the Pritzker Pavilion to weave together music and dances found in celebrations across the Black Atlantic. Fun in the Discipline: A Preview of "Divination—The Dancing Souls of Black Folk" at the Pritzker Pavilion Chicagoans will get a sampling of what makes Chicago Black Dance Legacy Project so unique this Saturday, when all ten companies in the current cohort present a small sampling of their work at the Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park.

Only 2 more weekends left for Summer Workouts!
This Saturday, 8/24 will be held on the west end at Wrigley Square while the final workouts on 8/31 will take place on the Great Lawn.

The Chicago Black Dance Legacy Project is headed back to Millennium Park as part of the Residency Program and the Park’s 20th Anniversary Summer Season.
The show will feature ten dynamic dance companies in a concert exploring the divine, mystical and spiritual ways our ancestors communicate and celebrate with us.
