We are looking for volunteers to join Rush and the Alive Faith Network to support Keep It Movin’ and Abundant Living, two church-based studies working to improve mobility and blood pressure and promote health equity within the African American community in Chicago.
Please join us at our upcoming virtual volunteer training on Wednesday, July 24th, from 6 pm - 7 pm to learn more about how you can volunteer at one of our upcoming health assessments.

According to the Alzheimer's Association, nearly 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's, and in 2021, Alzheimer's was the fifth-leading cause of death amongst people aged 65 years and older.
It's crucial to spread awareness about the challenges and impact of this condition. Check out the National Institute on Aging website to receive resources and information on how to care for your loved ones living with Alzheimer's disease. Let's continue working together to create a more inclusive and compassionate environment for those living with Alzheimer's and their caregivers!

The Steps to Stop study at RUSH University Medical Center, in partnership with Phalanx Family Services, is testing a treatment program to help people increase their readiness to quit smoking. The study is done completely online/ over the phone, and at no cost to the participant.
All study participants receive free coaching sessions with a To***co Treatment Specialist via Zoom or phone, and a free two-week supply of ni****ne lozenges and patches. Participants may earn up to $100 for completing all parts of the study.
