Clark-Devon Hardware now employee owned Chicago’s largest independent hardware store has been sold. Its new owners are the 65 people who work there.

Anyone looking for a new bathroom exhaust fan? ConEd (no spelling error) actually has a great deal on these whisper quiet models. Chances of it fitting the existing hole are slim to none so call me for the install of course. Remember to clean that thing out annually. The mositure that it is intended to suck up and out makes dust adhere to the motor and the fan blades (They all do it). When dry athis is like kindling. A spark from the motor starting up can light this on fire and is one of the most common reason for house fires beating candles and holiday decorations.

I haven't posted in a while but this is definitely worth posting. I have a client that just goes for it and doesn't hold back, especially when it comes to color which is way awesome making the project more fun and look how it photographs. Most would be hesitant at the least. This is a portion of the basement floor I hand painted - these are not decals as one would think being that the edges are so perfect. :). This will become a fun laundry room / crafting workspace and some cool storage units along the walls. I will make sure to post the final pics once the room is complete. I should post a before pic - let me see if I have one. , ,

Those times when you’re making your dogs food and adding leftovers but then you decide that you want some for yourself and forget that you’ve just used that same fork to mix the canned food with the dry food and all the pills your dog won’t take unless they are crushed up and mixed with the food. You eat that half of the leftovers and then you question yourself if you’ve used the same fork or did you grab a new one. You look into the sink and try to look back into your use of silverware but it’s just not giving you that confirmation you’d hope for. Yeah, that happened.

Check this out! I've had several situations where a dishwasher was needed but couldn't fit one in the kitchen either at all or near the kitchen sink. This takes care of that problem and some. Food sanitation feature is way awesome, the looks of this is way awesome and so is the price. I'd love to hear your thoughts about this.

I can't tell you how happy this makes me! I have needed this for years. I can't believe it has taken this long to invent an outlet for the bathroom or wherever needing a ground fault and usb ports and outlets! Pretty demanding I am! When I am in a pinch I use an undisclosed company to hire laborers. I was so impressed by this guys productivity and then he tells me he’s a special ed teacher. Gets better! Then he wants to learn what I do on these jobs. We were doing click lock flooring at the time. I showed him that. Now i get this text from him asking to learn even more stuff. His ambition and eagerness to learn has me in shock - like a good shock that I am going to do it. This guy has succeeded and is going to succeed even more! I truly love this.

So these dots made it to the wall.

These things are filled with honey? Damn! I always thought these were used for something entirely different.

The Thorndale Project is almost complete. It will be sad saying goodbye to me new best friend YinYang aka Birdie.
