🔥Tala Chicago and The Chicago Manual of Style present 𝑰𝒄𝒆𝒃𝒆𝒓𝒈 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔 5 opening this Friday, June 28th, 6-9PM!

“Iceberg Process 5” is the first US solo exhibition by Malagasy-French artist and 2022 Villa Albertine resident Pierre Alexandre Savriacouty (.savriacouty ).

Exploring themes of disappearance, memory, and identity, Savriacouty uses ‘anchors’—sculptures from deconstructed chandeliers and various materials that either float or sink—to delve into ancestral myths and spiritual symbolism.

Curated by Stephanie Cristello () and organized by Francine Almeda (.chicago), the exhibition is supported by Villa Albertine and Amis des Beaux-Arts de Paris , a result of the 2021 The Sarr Collection Prize & 2022 Villa Albertineresidency
