GM! I just realized something...

This photo is from August 2015. This was actually a classic set with very little editing (only on the models skin). It looks similar to a current volume photo.

What struck me is that at that time no one (that I knew of) was angling classic lashes this way. I zoned out and created something different. This was Freehand, no map/drawing; I found my flow. So today and everyday I want to allow myself to zone out and flow. Not overthinking it just stay present, feel and create for every client...

What could we create if we remembered the rules but didn’t get trapped by them and allowed our art and passion to shine through? ❤️

When I began lashing I never thought I’d get it. I couldn’t isolate very fast. It took me 8 hours to complete my first set! (Thanks mom 😉) I couldn’t understand how people completed full sets in two hours. I never thought I’d achieve that! 😢 I needed to do eye design too! Nope, throw the whole kit away! 😂 I kept practicing.
Flash forward - A nice set takes approx 45-55mins. Fuller sets are about 75 mins and my fastest time with Volume lashes is 105 mins. I’ve worked on photo shoots, traveled, trained other trainers and students, written curriculums and instructional manuals, etc.

My point - with focus, determination, practice and believing in yourself unbelievable results can be produced. Never ever give up! You’ve got this 💫
