Autism Eats Chicago
Going to a family restaurant should be an enjoyable experience. A time to relax, enjoy good food and spend time with your family.
Founded in 2015, Autism Eats provides autism-friendly non-judgmental environments for family dining and connecting with others who share similar joys and challenges. Let someone else do the cooking and cleaning. Unfortunately, for those of us who have a child with autism dining out can be anxiety provoking and stressful. As parents, we may feel that "all eyes are on us" when our kids exhibit certa

We are excited to share that Spectrum Sailing will be at this year's Autism Unplugged. Don't miss out on this opportunity to meet the Chicago team and learn about their wonderful sailing program. Collaboration coming this summer!!!
Don't miss out, register today at: https://uniquesweets.ticketspice.com/autism-unplugged
Spectrum Sailing was born out of necessity. Our founder, Scott Herman, was looking for a sailing camp his Autistic son could attend. Sadly no one would take him, so he started his own camp! Founded in Charleston, they built the only Autism Sailing Camp in South Carolina. The local program grew and proved successful. It was then that Scott decided kids across the country needed this opportunity.
2024 was the third year for Spectrum Sailing Chicago. Last year, Chicago was one of 10 stops giving over 200 autistic sailors the life changing opportunity to learn to sail.
Through the generosity of both the Autism and Sailing communities we can offer camps nationally at no cost to the sailors.
These kids just need a chance and Spectrum Sailing is that chance.
Scott Herman
