Today, we celebrate the crucial role honeybees play in our ecosystem. It's important to raise awareness about honeybee allergies.
Honeybee sting allergies can cause symptoms ranging from mild swelling to severe anaphylaxis. Watch for hives, difficulty breathing, and swelling of the face or throat.
A great tip is to wear neutral colors and avoid strong fragrances when spending time outdoors, as these can attract bees.
Honeybees are vital to our environment, and with the right precautions, we can safely coexist and appreciate their hard work.

This month’s employee shout-out is, Diana!
Diana has been with Premier for 1 year and six months! She says there is never a dull moment being a receptionist-there’s always something to do, and always something to learn!
When she’s not working hard, you can find her doing favorite things. She loves getting manicures and pedicures, reading, and getting cozy on her couch to binge-watch TV shows or movies.
She has 3 little monsters and a husband of 11 years. They love to go bowling, take nature walks, go to the movies, and go on picnics.
Thanks for everything that you do for Premier, Diana!

At Premier Allergy, we think it's important to take a moment to raise awareness about shellfish allergies on this delicious day. While they are a beloved delicacy for many, they can pose serious health risks for those with allergies.
Shellfish allergies can cause a range of reactions, from mild symptoms like hives and nasal congestion to severe reactions like anaphylaxis. This includes crustaceans (like shrimp, crab, and lobster) and mollusks (like oysters, clams, and scallops).
We always recommend carrying your medication and don’t be afraid to ask questions to keep yourself safe.
This Sunday is National Sisters Day!
Whether you're joined by blood or by choice, sisters bring joy, support, and a lifetime of memories. Take a moment to appreciate some of Premier’s staff and their sisters.

Jess has been at Premier for just over a year now. She was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and migrated to Chicagoland when she started PA school at Midwestern University in Downers Grove.

Did you know that fragrances can trigger allergic reactions in some people?
Let's raise awareness about fragrance allergies!
For many, perfumes and scented products can cause headaches, respiratory issues, or skin irritations. It's important to be mindful of others' sensitivities.
🚫 Avoid heavy scents in public spaces and opt for fragrance-free products when possible to create inclusive environments for everyone.

Struggling with eczema but still want to wear makeup? Don’t worry, we’re here to help.
It’s important to start your makeup routine by hydrating your skin with a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer to create a smooth base. Opt for makeup labeled as hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, and suitable for sensitive skin. Apply a hydrating primer to help makeup go on smoothly and last longer. Go for lightweight, breathable formulas like mineral makeup or BB creams and use clean brushes or sponges to avoid rubbing or tugging at your skin
You can feel confident and comfortable in your skin!
