Join us at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, at the Museum of Mississippi History and the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum for the 2024 Medgar Wiley Evers Lecture Series featuring a conversation between author and MSNBC host Joy-Ann Reid and literary scholar Ebony Lumumba. Reid, host of "The ReidOut," and Lumumba, chair of the English department at Jackson State University, will explore the legacy of Medgar and Myrlie Evers.
Reid will sign copies of her new book, "Medgar and Myrlie: Medgar Evers and the Love Story That Awakened America," at 5 p.m. Registration is not required for this free event.
