Many congratulations to one of our dental vets Nicola - after a long wait her official certificate from the RCVS has arrived after she passed her RCVS Certificate in Equine Practice (Dentistry) and fulfilled all the criteria to be titled an Advanced Practitioner in Equine Dentistry :)

Nicola (nee Bell) used to work some years ago at a mixed equine practice in the New Forest, Hampshire and is known to many of you in the local area. Since then Nicola has been performing equine dentistry all day every day and has learnt so much - this brings our advanced qualifications tally to 5 vets now with 3 RCVS Recognsised Specialists in Equine Dentistry (Chris, Nicole and Richard), and 2 Advanced Practitioners (Nicola and Nicky) - Nicola and Jane are also studying for their Specialist Diplomas undertaking residency programs with Chris and Nicole to be future Specialists.

Nicola says ‘the level of difference in what we can do here compared to my time in my previous equine practice is incredible - it’s worlds apart. There is just no substitute for performing dentistry all day every day and having the support of Specialists like Chris, Nicole and Richard’. Well done Nicola and good luck with the residency training!
