Here are some essential tips to protect yourself from harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays: 🕶️ Wear Sunglasses: Protect your eyes with sunglasses that block 100% of UVA and UVB rays. 🧴 Use Sunscreen: Apply sunscreen with at least SPF 30. Reapply every two hours, and after swimming or sweating. 👒 Wear a Hat: A wide hat can protect your face, ears, and neck from the sun. 🌳 Seek Shade: Avoid direct sun exposure between 10 AM and 4 PM when UV rays are strongest. Why is UV protection important? ➡️Prevents Skin Cancer: UV exposure is a major risk factor for most skin cancers. ➡️Prevents Premature Aging: UV rays can cause premature aging of the skin, leading to wrinkles and age spots. ➡️Protects Eyes: UV radiation increases the risk of cataracts and other eye conditions.
