"I had a craving for some Caribbean food that's not Jamaican. I ordered the curry goat bone-in (halal) bowls/lunch, and the cucumber chow for lunch. The potion size was great for a weekday lunch. The taste and quality were really good. A delightful surprise was that the rice was good (which Caribbean's know can be a challenge here in Chicago; it was not mushy!). I look forward to ordering again. Only flaw, I wish this was store location where I could eat onsite, I would love to site down and patronize more often."

As an island girl living in Chicago, I had a huge craving for shrimp roti and all the Caribbean style foods. Cafe Trinidad did not disappoint and satisfied my craving...and then some! The shrimp curry is perfectly spiced with a nice heat, the dhal roti is as soft as a cloud, the jerk salmon pasta was addictive, the macaroni bake was on point and the plantains are a must side for any order!
