We’d like to announce that Brel, our Director of Development Services of 5 years, will soon be transitioning from NASCO Staff. They will continue to consult with us to support co-op development efforts.

Brel’s unshakeable commitment to cooperatives and housing justice have advanced NASCO’s mission and benefitted countless cooperators. Brel’s combination of humor, honor, and pragmatism is a powerful force for good, and we can’t wait to see the results of their future work in the movement.

Please read Brel’s farewell email at the link below to learn more about their accomplishments in their time with NASCO and hear their meaningful retrospective.

We, at NASCO, would like to take a moment to reflect on the current Israeli-Gaza conflict and express our solidarity as an organization to those directly impacted by the destruction. We worked with our staff to determine this statement.

Additionally, we invite NASCO members and members of resident equity co-ops to share anti-war organizing resources with each other at an upcoming organizing call on February 8th from 5:15pm-6:45pm CT. Register here: https://shorturl.at/hrvyF
