To think, I almost didn’t share this as a post because it wasn’t the 'perfect' picture. But this moment—it’s not about perfection or just another accomplishment. It’s a testament to everything we’ve pushed through.

This year started with me in a hospital bed after an emergency surgery, followed by more corrective surgeries along the way. But I kept going. In September, I received my cochlear implant, and through every tough day, my husband, Julius, stood by me, reminding me, 'We can do this.'

I cried on New Year’s Eve, overwhelmed at beginning the year in a hospital room. And now, here we are, standing beside our very first billboard. This moment may not be the 'perfect' picture but it holds all the strength, resilience, and gratitude of this journey—and that’s more than enough. 🫶🏽✨
