Is there really a Poppie?
Of course! Poppie, always a great baker, began our company with five gourmet cookie doughs. One of our fondest memories is of our grandfather Poppie baking all kinds of goodies in the kitchen. When we visited, we never knew what to expect! Poppie was always experimenting and the results were delicious. From soft, warm classics like Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin and Peanut Butter to innovative treats like Cowboy Thundercluster and Toffee Bar Crunch. Poppie's Apple Cinnamon, Bursting Blueberry and Banana Walnut muffins melted in our mouths. As the years went by, Poppie perfected his signature recipes and he created delicious and irresistible pastries. In 1975, we started selling his amazing recipes and we called our company Poppie's Dough and Poppie's Cookies. We are pleased to be celebrating four generations of bakers in our family which spans from New York to Texas to Illinois.
Now we are proud to be a women owned business located in Chicago’s Brighton Park neighborhood. We're bringing those great fresh baked cookies, muffins, scones, brownies, cakes, crispy butter cookies and many more goodies directly to you. Each batch is made from scratch in small mixes and prepared to perfection using only the finest and freshest ingredients. We are proud to offer products made with fresh fruits, vegetables, wholesome nuts, grade AA Wisconsin butter, Belgium chocolates and many other candy favorites. Everything is made free of Trans Fat. Now you too can enjoy these delicious treats and TASTE A LITTLE HAPPINESS.
