Today we say a very bittersweet goodbye to our managing director, Evelyn Jacoby! Evelyn has served as Windy City Playhouse's managing director since its premiere in 2015, so to say we will miss her is an understatement. We are so lucky to have had her these past 8 years and can't wait to watch her flourish!
We're extremely happy she'll be joining our board of directors, so she won't be too far to offer us wisdom and encouragement. We love you, Evelyn!

Are you interested in bartending for our upcoming immersive show SOUTHERN GOTHIC? We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced bartender to join us.

Description:

Windy City Playhouse is seeking a bartender for their upcoming production of Southern Gothic. The venue is located at 150 N Dearborn at the lower banquet hall of Petterino’s, entrance on Randolph Street.

This position is a part time position. As an immersive theater, we are looking for a bartender to serve signature cocktails to fit within the theme of the show. The bartender will also serve sample sized drinks to patrons as part of the immersive experience.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year previous bartending experience

Completion of BASSET certification in the state of Illinois

Product knowledge and familiarity with terminology relative to domestic and import beers, various types of wine, premium and brand name spirits, garnishes and beverage presentations

Friendly personality and excellent communication skills

Dedication to providing an exceptional level of professional customer service to patrons

Dates: Sept 2-4, 16-18, 23-25

Hours: Wednesday-5:30-9:30pm
Thursday-1:30-5pm and 5:30-9:30pm
Friday-5:30-9:30pm
Saturday-1:30-5pm and 5:30-9:30pm
Sunday- 11:30am-3pm and 3:30pm-7:30pm

Pay rate: $75/shift plus tips.
