Members of the Chicago Police Department escorted Ebony Jimenez '25 to our Circle Drive doors today for the first day of her senior year. Ebony is the daughter of Officer Samuel Jimenez, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty.

It's hard to believe that summer will soon be coming to an end and that school will be starting up again. Please take a moment to read about how our Education Assistance program brings some peace of mind to the families of fallen and catastrophically injured officers when it come to the education of the children of these never forgotten officers. "CPD Gold Star Members and Daughters of our Fallen, Alana and Avril Nauden (P.O. Paul Nauden, EOW 5/11/2011), Ebony Jimenez (P.O. Samuel Jimenez, EOW 11/19/2018) and Madalyn Marmolejo (P.O. Eduardo Marmolejo, EOW 12/17/2018) represented the Chicago Police Department at the National Concerns of Police Survivors’ Young Adults Camp which is a camp in St. Simons Island, GA for all surviving young adult children of Police Officers who lost their lives In Line of Duty. Camp consisted of Law Enforcement contributions, fun summer activities, counseling and mentor support. It has been and will continue to be a safe space for our Chicago surviving young adults to grieve, remember, and honor their Fathers💙 Thank you CPMF for always supporting and providing the awesome CPD shirts for our families to represent Chicago!"- Maria Marmolejo, GSF Chairwoman
