The event helped raised awareness about mental health, while YAP educated visitors about what the agency does. YAP Tarrant County, Texas - The Tarrant County Juvenile Board voted Wednesday to not renew its contract of Youth Advocate Programs Inc. The nonpartisan group, based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, provides counseling, mentors and community service in an effort to reduce repeat offenders. It has worked with the county since 1992.

Shooting spree gunman at large as Charlotte families live in fear A gunman who randomly targeted people early Tuesday morning in Charlotte still has not been caught.

YAP Ireland young people, advocates and staff supported HAPPI in their aim of ending period poverty.

HAPPI is a collaboration between Youth Advocate Programs, Inc.AP., HU, Sierra Leone Youth Advocate Programs, and Hollins University Black Alumnae, with the intent of developing richer cultural understandings/backgrounds for creating a strong grasp on what period poverty is and how it affects people.

This collaboration holds potential to create study abroad opportunities, bridging cultural understandings and experiences, and promoting cultural exchanges among students of varying backgrounds.

YAP Ireland were happy to show their support during a recent visit by YAP Inc's Director of International Development, Diana Matteson.

Combining youth and family wraparound services from Chicago YAP™ Advocates and cognitive behavioral therapy from Brightpoint IL, C2C™ has been found by the UChicago Urban Labs to reduce violence among youth at the highest risk.
