📣 TOMORROW!! TOMORROW!! TOMORROW!!
October 10th holds special significance as World Homeless Day, an annual observance dedicated to raising awareness about the challenges of homelessness and encouraging communities to work together to prevent it and alleviate the suffering it causes.
Just like every other day, we are deeply grateful for the 1,000+ organizations participating in our Big 5 GIVEBACK initiative, addressing homelessness across the nation and offering hope and second chances.
Tomorrow, we want to celebrate with all of you how far the has come, and we have a special announcement lined up for you. 🎉
Save the Date!!!
Homeless Army Veteran Chris T. Traveled all the way to Chicago, from Southern IL, to get the help that he sorely needs at the VA.
HVIARF & another Veteran centric organization are working together to get this Veteran to the life he needs and wants. He suffers terribly from a TBI and couldn't get the help he truly needed elsewhere. When no other organizations stepped up to help; We Did!!!
Thank you to those that see that what we do for Veterans really matters and for your continued support!
Guitarists For Good were kind enough to send to us an acoustic & bass guitar along with an amp for Veterans! These will help Veterans take their minds off of the craziness of life and their current situations, if only for a short time. Thank you Sandy G.!!!
We are so thankful for Forbes featuring the No Address Movement today:
“Jennifer Stolo, CEO of Robert Craig Films offers an excellent example of how collaboration can expand the reach of a common good-focused initiative in support of the film “No Address.”
Stolo explains, “While ‘No Address Movie’ is a work of fiction, it is designed to provide a realistic portrayal of homelessness to help our nation understand just how urgent this issue is and to urge people to do more. To expand the reach of this message, we decided to develop what we called our ‘Big Five’ productions — collaborating with other creators to create a novel, documentary, interactive study guide and a soundtrack to coincide with the film.”
She continues, “Half of the net proceeds from these productions will be donated to organizations working to combat the homelessness crisis. Collaborating with other creators to bring these productions to life gives us more ways to spread this important message so we can reach groups with different media interests in a way that is appealing, informative and persuasive. This is how we are building the ‘No Address’ Movement.””
