The Residences at Thomas Circle hosted a beautiful baby shower for two of our wonderful Assisted Living CNAs, celebrating their upcoming arrivals - a girl for one and a boy for the other! The event was truly special, featuring traditional Ethiopian customs, including a coffee ceremony.

We cherish celebrating the accomplishments of our team members. Our heartfelt wishes go out to both soon-to-be mothers for safe pregnancies and deliveries.

History = on June 19, 1865, nearly two years after President Lincoln emancipated enslaved Africans in America, Union troops arrived in Galveston Bay, Texas with news of freedom. More than 250,000 African American embraced freedom by executive decree in what became know as Juneteenth or Freedom Day.
