Hey, folks. Here we go.

TL;DR: Three M1 "Silicon" MacBooks for Sale. 2 Airs, 1 Pro. All of them with 256 GB of SSD space, and 8 GB of RAM. The Pro is available for $700, and each of the Airs for $650. Comes with a fresh install of macOS Catalina (13.4.1) + Microsoft Office.

The shop has been crowded lately, and then, some more luck found us.

In shop, for sale -- THREE M1 MacBooks. That's right; these are Apple's new generation of MacBooks, and it's more than a bit impressive as to how FAST these things are...even the MacBook Airs!

If you haven't had a chance to use one of the new "Silicon" or M1 series of Macs, here's the idea:

Apple, for the first time since the PowerPC era ended in the 2000s, started building their laptops with in-house-built CPUs. Stranger still, they modeled the new processors from the SAME ONES that are in your iPhones and iPads today. You might think this would hamper the speed, but it's the exact opposite.

The fans in these barely kick on. They barely get hot. Programs open in SECONDS, and the RAM management is top shelf. At a shop I worked at, I was part of the upgrade rollout for close to 200 of these. The first folks to get them were the media dept., who needed new machines for video editing.

They got MacBook Airs...and were using them to render 4K video in After Effects. No overheating, fans barely kicked on, worked wonderfully. I was more than pleasantly surprised.
