Seiers Bitters & Quincy Street Distillery Experience! Today 2/4 6-9pm! Free!

Join us as we host our friends Gitte and Claus founders of the Seiers Bitters company in Denmark and Derrick Mancini from the Quincy Street Distillery right here in Illinois! We met Gitte & Claus at the Independent Spirits Expo and discovered their amazing line of Bitters. They are regularly winning awards around the world for their handmade products and this will be the first time that they are showcasing them in Chicago. You will be able to sample their entire line of Bitters, as well as, taste them in cocktails made with our own Illinois spirits from Quincy Street.

Free tasting - seating is limited upstairs but overflow tasting will be held downstairs once the room fills up

This tasting kicks off our focus on different distilleries series that will be hosted at the upstairs bar at the beginning of each month. This educational classroom type discussion will have limited availability as the exclusive part of the tasting will be seated and upstairs. We’ll be led through a sampling the benchmark Talisker 10yr, as well as, showcasing the 2022 Distillers Edition that was double matured in Amoroso Seasoned American Oak casks and doing the launch for the new Talisker Natural Cask Strength Special Release! We’ll also have a special pour in there and be sampling these in context with Talisker as a part of the Johnnie Walker blends.

Sat 1/27 Join us for International Port Wine Day! 5-7pm free sampling!

Sample five different Ports from Kopke - the world’s oldest Port Wine house, as well as, the 40yr Van Zellers & Co. Tawny Port! We’ll also be sampling the Middle West Spirits Ported Pumpernickel Rye Whiskey and take a look at how a secondary maturation in a Port Pipe affects a Rye Whiskey. Fun & educational!
